A GUIDE TO THE BOOKS IN THE OPAL LIBRARY

1
Generally any member may borrow any book, however all borrowings are at the librarian’s discretion. Please place your request using the contact page.
2
Members must take proper care of OPAL property when it is in their possession. They must not mark, damage or deface material. Material must be properly protected in the post.
3
All postage, in both directions, must be paid by the borrower. Reimbursement will be requested by the librarian in an appropriate form i.e. UK cheque, mint British stamps or cash.
4
The borrowers will be liable for the full replacement cost of material whilst it is on loan to them. Some of our books are valuable.
5
When returning OPAL property members should use the same method of postage as the librarian uses when sending it out. Evidence of posting should always be obtained and kept for a reasonable period.
