OPAL MEETINGS

The 59th Annual General Meeting will be held at The Czech National House, 74 West End Lane, West Hampstead, London NW6 2LX on Saturday 31st May 2008 at 1.00pm.  The venue is booked from noon until about 4.00pm.  Lunch can be taken at the club prior to the AGM.  The venue is approximately 200 metres from West Hampstead station which is on the Jubilee Line and which is also an ordinary railway station.

After the AGM, it is intended to hold the “one sheet” competition for the coveted Taylor Smith Trophy.  The competition is open to all members, including those who wish to anonymously display a single item.  SO COME ALONG TO THE AGM AND COME ARMED WITH YOUR ONE ITEM.  The main judging criteria will be “the most interesting entry”.  Afterwards there will be further opportunity for members to display and attendees are invited to bring along suitable material.
