Another effect of the prolonged immersion in water is the migration of ink from one
stamp to another. Below is a 1½ qirsh Makkah Arms with an inverted red 4-
Ink migration from the front of one sheet to the back of another caused by prolonged immersion in water.
There is therefore more to the Khartoum cancels than being just a forgery. Take a closer look; the stamps may be genuine and possibly rare.
